 BLESSED EASTER

I wanted to design and create a beautiful Easter card for my mother, Arleta Rohdy. I grew up on a small family farm in southeastern Iowa. I am very blessed to have spent my childhood on a farm where we ran and played all day long. Springtime has always been very special to me with flowers and bulbs peeking through the earth after a long winters nap. Mom had the most beautiful flower beds and I loved smelling the flowers on the breeze. I hope you enjoy your card mom! I love you!!!

Recipe~
Stamp: Blessed Easter
Paper: Watercolor Paper, In-Color 2013-2015 DSP Stacks, Pistachio Pudding and Wisteria Wonder
Ink: Pink Pirouette,Wisteria Wonder, Pistachio Pudding, Wild Wasabi and Jet Black StazOn
Cool Tools: Blending Pen and Labels Collection Framelits
Perfect Touch: Pink Pirouette 3/8" Taffeta Ribbon and Pearl Basic Jewels

I loved making this card because the blender pens give each tulip a fresh beautiful look!!! I was so excited creating this card that I decided it would make a beautiful birthday card too.

I used "Bring On The Cake" stamp set for the birthday wish, cut out the tulips, and placed the pearls in the corner to create a gorgeous birthday card.

Move the tulips to the other side of the card and create a different look. The beauty of using the Blender Pen is that each set of tulips have a different look.

So soft and pretty! Just for you, my wonderful momma!!! Happy Easter!!!

Come stamp with me.....just because.

HOPPY EASTER

I love the cuteness factor of this card. Bunnies make me so happy.....this is for you Cooper, Briana's bunny!!! Let's stamp, stamp, stamp down the bunny trail...

Recipe~

Ink: Smoky Slate
Cool Tools: StarBurst Framelits Dies and 2 1/2" Circle Punch
Perfect Touch: Daffodil Delight 1/2" Seam Binding Ribbon and Pearl Basic Jewels

Thank you Mary Fish for this adorable card. I changed the inner circle punch to another starburst frame lit to surround the bunny. The Daffodil Delight Ribbon and the bunny are way too cute!!!

Let's stamp....just because.

YOU MAKE ME HAPPY

I fell in love with the soft colors and textures of this card. Brian King did an amazing job of making the hexagons pop by using the Pool Party Core'dinations card stock. The effect is created by sanding the top layer with the Stampin' Sanding Block and placing it on top of  Pool Party card stock....beautiful. By adding the softness of the flowers, this card is simply gorgeous! Thank you Brian King for teaching me a new technique I could share at my March "Celebrate the Everyday" Workshop.

Recipe~
